Production Manager

Willow Creek Community Church is an egalitarian non-denominational, multi-site church in and across Chicagoland passionate about helping people take next steps to love God, love people, and change the world. Our Willow Wheaton location is a mobile campus hosting services at Wheaton Academy in Wheaton, IL with an average congregation size of around 500 people.

As the part time Production Manager at Willow Wheaton your role is primarily a people-oriented role. You will recruit, train, empower, and care for a technical arts team of volunteers in order to execute impactful, distraction-free services. Additionally you will oversee all technical arts systems and elements for services and special events at our campus: audio, video, lighting, and stage management.

The salary range for this position is around $21.50/hr - $28.50/hr depending on experience and skill set. 

Job Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, support, develop and oversee a technical arts team of volunteers: including video team, front of house audio, graphics operators, lighting technicians, stage managers, and more
• Oversee all audio, video, and lighting fulfillment functions for both services and special events
• Maintain and develop all theatrical lighting, video, and audio systems throughout the building
• Build and Install stage sets occasionally in collaboration with the Central Arts and Worship Team

Education and Experience:

• Prior experience leading arts production
• Some prior experience using ProPresenter 7, Adobe Premiere, audio systems, lighting systems, and broadcast video systems
• Prior experience leading, supporting and recruiting volunteers is a plus
