Program Assistant Malden Outreach

PROGRAM ASSISTANT 

We are looking for a part-time Program Assistant for our Malden Outreach location.  The Program Assistant is a general clerical position performing clerical work for the regional Outreach office.

Duties include but are not limited to:

•  Manage and route incoming telephone calls.


• Retrieve general voicemail, determine appropriate party and transfer messages.
  


• Receive telephone messages and deliver to appropriate personnel.


• Schedule and confirm appointments.


• Answer basic questions about the organization and the various programs as well as provide addresses, directions and other information.


• Welcome on-site visitors, determine nature of business and announce visitors to appropriate personnel.


• Monitor visitor access and issues visitor passes when required.


• Maintain meeting room reservation calendar.


• Maintain vehicle reservation calendar.


• Receives, sorts and routes mail and facsimile transmissions.


• Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying and collating.


• Constructs and maintains computer files and records and prepares reports from information entered.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year experience in a related job. A.A. degree or certificate and/or commensurate experience in related areas highly desirable.
