Project Engineer

Location: Laramie, WY
Salary Range: $90,000-$125,000 DOE
Period of Performance: October 2025 – February 2027

Position/Project Overview: 

Project Solutions Inc. is seeking an Project Engineer for a project with the City of Laramie, WY on a Water Treatment Plant. The role will deliver general project management for city Water Treatment Plant Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) replacement project and perform as Project Engineer along with associated Project Manager and Construction Manager duties. Main duties will include project setup, invoicing coordination, subcontracting preparation and execution, and preparing and maintaining project schedule. 

This role is contingent upon award of project.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide scope of work development, systems expertise, selection and specification of SCADA software, contractor proposal evaluation and selection, project management, and contractor contract management.
• Design and construction of public water systems.
• Site and system condition assessments and reports.

Required Education, Knowledge and Skills:

• Minimum 5years of experience in the field of architecture, engineering, and/or construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a discipline related to the Design and/or Construction industries preferred.
• Professional engineer licensed in Wyoming.
• Basic knowledge of building science fundamentals.
• Ability to communicate effective both orally and in writing.
• Ability to interpret Architectural/Engineering plans and specifications.
• Familiarity with federal and local government office building projects preferred.
