What are we looking for?

We are currently looking for Part-time Accountant to join our growing leadership team with financial modeling, forecasting and reporting. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional seeking flexible, meaningful work along side a small and focused executive team.

Requirements

Responsibilities Include:

• Ability to develop and maintain a 5-year operational financial forecast for each practice location.
• Build financial models to support business decisions, growth planning, and strategic initiatives.
• Create internal financial models to assess potential mergers and acquisitions.
• Facilitate the annual budgeting process for each of the four locations.
• Create monthly balance sheets for each location.
• Prepare consolidated monthly expense summaries and variance reports.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and scenario planning for strategic opportunities.
• Support due diligence efforts related to potential practice acquisitions.
• Participate in weekly operations calls with the CEO and Operations Manager.
• Provide concise updates and insights that guide executive decision-making.
• Recommend and implement improvements in financial tracking and reporting processes.
• Ensure consistency across financial documentation and reporting tools.
• Collaborate with payroll system and tax professionals (if applicable)
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements Include:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required)
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in healthcare, dental, or multi-location businesses
• Strong experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms a plus
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
