Description

80% of your job will be delivering small packages to group homes throughout the region from a base of operations. 

20% of your job will be helping the Shipping team sort and organize completed prescriptions and prepare them for shipments.

Hours: Monday-Friday 2pm-6/8pmCST (20-30hrs/wk anticipated)

Location: Wichita, KS area

We are seeking a hardworking, shipping team member to become part of our daily shipping department.

Routes range from local/low mileage/many stops to more distant/higher mileage/fewer stops. You will use a smartphone scanning device and digital applications to control jobs on a manifest and to secure signature for Proof of Delivery. You will be the face of the business, interacting with clients, so an appropriate degree of professionalism is required.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Clean driving record required (you will be asked to provide MVC abstract.) No CDL necessary.
• Professional appearance.
• Sorts and organizes completed prescriptions
• Prepares shipments
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Ability to multi-task and work with other members of the shipping and distribution team
• Understanding of basic production processes for packaging and shipping
• FedEx Shipping / Overnight Shipping Experience is a Plus
• Experience working in a Commercial Pharmacy is a Plus
• Basic understanding of or the ability to learn locations and organizational structure of the company
• Ability to correctly sort and distribute large amounts of medications
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to complete projects in a timely manner
• Ability to work with little oversight and/or guidance
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
• Must be able to traverse close quarters quickly

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to withstand long hours of driving and getting in and out of vehicle.
• Must be able to pick up to 40lbs to load vehicle.
• Must be able to drive at night
• Must be able to speak and write English
• Good phone communication
