Job Description - PT Nanny - JC 0396 - Ravenswood - 25 Hours/Week

Job Description: Experienced and reliable Nanny needed for a family with one child in North Center! Start January 2025.

Compensation: $25/hour (based on experience) + vacation, sick days, PTO

Schedule: Guaranteed 25 hours per week. Family can be flexible to add more hours if needed. Monday-Friday, 12:00pm-5:00pm.

Job Details and Responsibilities:

One child, a 3.5-year-old who will be in part-time morning Preschool.
Responsibilities include all childcare including feeding, assisting with milestones, and taking to activities (dance, gym, soccer, art, swimming, etc.).
Light housekeeping includes tidying and organizing toys, washing dishes, child’s laundry, prepping snacks and dinner, etc.
Nanny should engage with each child and find common interests. Nanny should actively engage with the child in fun, yet developmental, activities, both inside and out of doors (music, arts & crafts, reading, etc.).
One parent works from home full-time, and the other parent works from home one day a week. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement.
The family travels to the east coast for the summer (2-3 months). Family would love for the Nanny to travel with them, but it is not required. If not able to travel, Nanny will assume House Managing responsibilities while the family is away.

Qualifications:

Nanny must have 5+ years’ experience as a Nanny with strong references.
Nanny should be looking for a long-term fit and will be able to build a relationship with the family.
Organized and proactive.
Nanny should be self-sufficient. Will be able to plan activities and keep track of child’s needs.
Strong English and communication skills.
COVID and Flu vaccines preferred.
Nanny should have a safe driving record and be able to use their own vehicle when needed.
