PT Night Auditor

The PT Night Auditor is responsible for the preparation and disposition of all Night Audit work - must have hospitality experience. Responsible for the front desk operation during the overnight shift (Typically 11pm-7am). Primary responsibilities include: registering guests, making reservations, preparing daily reports, balancing transactions, and conducting security walks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Approach all guests and employees with a smile.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Obtain all necessary information when taking room reservations.
• Answer guest inquires about hotel service facilities and hours of operation.
• Be aware of all rates, packages, and special promotions.
• Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of all property amenities, as well as any special events, local area attractions, and things to do near the hotel.
• Operate Front Desk computer system.
• Initiate and complete the End of Day process.
• Complete the Night Audit checklist for computer procedures daily.
• Handle and follow through on all overnight guest requests.
• Have knowledge of and assist in emergency procedures as required.
• Handle items for Lost and Found.
• Perform any other duties as requested by the Guest Services Director or any other member of management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college course work in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or a related field a PLUS.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal
• An operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Willing and able to stand for long periods of time
• Able to work with little or no supervision
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve.
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles.
