Job Description - Purchasing and Sales Assistant

Purchasing and Sales for Industrial Distributor:

Part-time or Full-time availability

Task responsibilities:

Receiving Inventory (Inventory Receipts)

Purchasing Inventory (Placing Purchase orders with vendors/manufacturers)

Purchase Requisitions

Order Tracking

Ability to use Vendor Portals

Packing Lists (Coordinating with shipping personal)

Vendor/Manufacturer Communications

Communication with Customers (Customer Service)

Necessary Qualifications/Qualities:

Highly detail-oriented and thorough.

Ability to adapt, and act fast and appropriately.

Excellent communication skills

Customer service skills necessary

Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Assertive

Strong Phone skills

Marketing skills a plus

Strong computer skills necessary

Some knowledge of QuickBooks program a plus

Able to receive and incorporate constructive feedback

Ability to learn quickly

Strong work ethic

Pay:

Salary based on experience and part-time vs. full-time status.
