Purchasing Assistant-Part Time

JOB DUTIES

• Filing of PO’s and requisitions from both Purchasing and Surgery Materials staff.


• Tracking of credits due.


• AP/MM liaison for discrepancies.


• Assist in invoice discrepancies by working with Accounting and Purchasing staff.


• Update item dictionary


• Process Third party shipping invoices in a timely manner.


• Processing of the monthly credit card reconciliation.


• Assist in misc Department needs

MINIMUM EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

High School Diploma/GED  required.

Experience working in a purchasing or accounting office desired.

Should be good with numbers, use of computers and attention to detail. 

Must possess good interpersonal skills.

Must be able to communicate clearly with other members of the healthcare team, customers and guests.
