Job Description - Purchasing Support Specialist (Part-Time)

Job Posting: Part‑Time Purchasing Support Specialist


Location: Maple Heights, OH
Company: Grafix
Schedule: Part‑Time (22–28 hours per week)


Pay Rate: $20-$26 / hour DOE


 


About the Role


Grafix is seeking a detail‑oriented and dependable Part‑Time Purchasing Support Specialist to support our purchasing and supply chain operations. In this role, you'll help ensure that materials, supplies, and products are ordered, tracked, and received accurately to keep production running smoothly.


You’ll work closely with the Director of Production and collaborate with multiple departments to manage purchase requisitions, purchase orders, inventory updates, and job‑closing activities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, thrives on accuracy, and prefers a part‑time schedule with consistent responsibilities.


 


What You’ll Do


Core Responsibilities



  • Create and process purchase requisitions

  • Generate, monitor, and receive purchase orders in the ERP system

  • Maintain purchasing paperwork and complete required ERP entries

  • Communicate order status and logistics updates to internal teams

  • Assist with inventory data entry and cycle counts

  • Review and complete job‑closing documentation

  • Monitor and maintain production/office supply levels


Additional Responsibilities (As Needed)



  • Assist with researching vendors and products

  • Support basic vendor communication and pricing updates

  • Participate in scheduled inventory counts


 


What We’re Looking For



  • Experience in an office or purchasing environment preferred

  • Strong math skills, including basic conversions (English ↔ Metric)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Team‑oriented and dependable


 


Education



  • Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred


 


Work Schedule



  • 22–28 hours per week

  • Flexible scheduling options available

  • Occasional additional hours during month‑end or inventory cycles (optional)


 


Physical Requirements



  • Ability to use a computer and office equipment for extended periods

  • Frequent movement between office and warehouse areas

  • Occasional light lifting (files, supply boxes, etc.)
