Rabbi

Location: Fort Eisenhower, GA

Position: Part-time 

Duties:

• Conduct Jewish religious worship services and ministrations according to Jewish Law (Halakha) and tradition.
• Conduct High Holy Days services (Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur) and other special services like Hanukkah, Pesach, and Sukkot.
• Provide pastoral counseling, marriage, and funeral services.
• Maintain confidentiality of personal information and comply with Army regulations.
• Present a neat and clean, well-groomed, and business-like appearance.

Requirements:

• Ecclesiastical endorsement from an authorized Jewish endorsing authority.
• A baccalaureate degree and a post-baccalaureate graduate degree in the field of theological or related studies.
• Knowledge of Jewish faith, beliefs, and traditions.
• Certification such as Semikhah.
