Always Best Care of Fairfax is committed to delivering personalized, client-centered care throughout Fairfax County. We are currently searching for a Radiant Personal Care Aide (PCA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for daytime in-home care shifts on Mon, Wed, and Fri from 10am - 3pm in Reston. We are looking for a compassionate care professional looking to make an impact with a client in a 1-on-1 engagement.

Position Overview
The right care professional will be able to support the client with basic care needs such as meal planning, prep, escort to appointments or on errands, and ambulatory support. The client could also benefit from a care professional who is extremely supportive and engaged with their emotional well-being as much as their physical care as well. The right care professional will be proactive and a positive force in their life, identifying ways to engage client.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and mobility support


• Identify or recommend fun and engaging activities for client based on their interests


• Offer companionship and emotional support


• Escort and accompany to appointments or on errands

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in the state of Virginia (preferred) or PCA with experience


• Experience with depression is preferred


• Compassionate, patient, and emotionally attuned to client needs


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
