Job Description - Receptionist at a Learning Center

Want to play math games with kids, give them candy, and help them pick out prizes? Can you manage our social media accounts to show how awesome we are? You're looking in the right place!

Mathnasium is a learning center where students come for 60-minute math tutoring sessions. Math can be scary, and we make it approachable... and fun! We're looking for an individual who can

Welcome students and play a math game,

Create and maintain a positive and productive atmosphere,

Track student attendance,

Communicate student and staff goals and time standards for each 60-minute session,

Ensure departing students reach their car safely,

Work with Center Director to update student assignments,

Maintain a stocked reward cabinet,

Manage social media accounts, and

Assist with marketing activities.

Schedule is Monday through Thursday from 2:30-7:30 pm. Sundays are available but optional.

Compensation: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour

Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees of Mathnasium Center Licensing, LLC ("Mathnasium"). Franchisees are independent business people and not employed by Mathnasium. Thus, each franchisee and each franchisee center is unique and the franchisee is alone responsible for all employment matters in their center. If you are hired to work at a center, the franchisee will be your employer, not Mathnasium.
