FSLA:                 Part-time (10 month), Non-exempt, IMRF Eligible

Summary

The Recreation Supervisor – ETC is a part-time 10 (ten) month position at Hampshire elementary schools and parks within the Hampshire Township Park District boundaries either outdoors or indoors. This position is responsible for assisting the Recreation Manager in the organization, implementation, supervision and evaluation of recreation programs including, but not limited to, Extended Care, days off school camps and special events, special youth age programs. This job requires a flexible schedule Monday – Friday at any facility with occasional weekends and evenings. This position is expected to be versatile, working in the field and school buildings. This position is expected to work 29 hours or less per week.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.


• Minimum requirement of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).


• Degree from an accredited university in Parks and Recreation or related field preferred, or proven experience in a recreation position.
