Recycler 1st Shift

Summary:

Recycling employees are responsible for maintaining a clean building while processing cardboard, Styrofoam, and plastic in our recycling department.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Process cardboard using the cardboard bailer
• Process plastic using the plastic bailer
• Process Styrofoam using the Styrofoam machine
• Collect recycling throughout the DC using a tugger and rolling plates.
• Separate recycling before processing
• Complete safety training class on all machines

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. 

Work Environment

This job operates in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses warehouse equipment such as Hi-Lo’s, Tuggers, bailers, etc. Dress according to weather. Safety toe footwear is required.

Physical Demands:

The employee will regularly be standing, walking, lifting, and bending.

Qualifications needed to perform this position:

• Must be 18 years of age or older to operate machines
• Ability to work in a team format
• Ability to stay productive without constant supervision

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position working AM shift
