Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Aligned Vision Behavior (AVB) is on a mission to provide quality in-home ABA services to clients aged 1 to 21 years old in order to increase skills and reduce behaviors that have been negatively impacting success. We focus on nurturing a collaborative approach between family members, teachers, parents, and providers to ensure sustainability outside of therapy sessions.

About the Role:

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will implement behavior goals in the home setting for children aged 5 years old. You will work closely with your supervisor (BCBA) to implement goals through remote and in-person supervision. You will take detailed notes throughout the session that your Clinical Supervisor will use to develop treatment plans for future sessions.

Schedules:

We currently have clients in the following areas within Montgomery County, MD who are in need of an RBT ASAP (Please indicate within the application which of the following you'd be interested in learning more about):

1. Silver Spring, MD (after school hours)
2. Takoma Park, MD (after school hours)

Compensation:

The pay is between $21.00 - $29.00/hour depending on experience, with a higher hourly rate for hours worked on the weekend. 

Position Requirements:

• Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred
• At least 1-year experience working with children is highly preferred
• Experience working with children with challenging behavior is a plus
• Must be willing to complete the requirements to obtain RBT certification through our organization
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation 
• Ability to pass a background check
