Job Description - Registered Dietitian (50% remote)

Registered Dietitian Position: Part-time and Remote (50% Hybrid)

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is excited to offer a part-time position for a Registered Dietitian, available to work between 16 hours per week, with a hybrid remote flexibility. We are in search of a committed professional to serve in a dynamic role, within our team, demonstrating their clinical nutrition expertise in our service area.

Schedule:

We offer flexible days and hours that will adapt to your needs. (50% remote).

Position is short term 8-13 weeks.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate ranging from $32.00 to $38.00, dependent on experience.

Experience:

Preference will be given to candidates with a minimum of one year's clinical experience.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Performing comprehensive nutritional assessments and follow-ups using evidence-based practices.

2. Delivering nutritional care in accordance with the facility's policies.

3. Documenting patient assessments, setting nutritional goals, and charting interventions in the medical record.

4. Administering medical nutrition therapy for various conditions such as wound healing, weight management, etc.

5. Managing patients with tube feeding needs.

6. Providing nutritional counseling and education to both patients and their families.

7. Notifying nursing staff and physicians of significant changes in a patient's nutritional status.

8. Participating actively in interdisciplinary team meetings.

9. Adhering to all facility’s policies and procedures, including confidentiality and patient’s rights.

10. Performing other assigned tasks efficiently.

Requirements:

1. Must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

2. Experience in providing nutrition education (e.g., weight management, diabetes management, etc.)

3. Proficiency in providing medical nutrition therapy.

4. Strong oral and written communication skills.

5. Experience with electronic charting systems.
