Registered Dietitian - Part-Time (100% remote)

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian for 5-10hrs/week (100% remote)!

Join our dynamic team at RD Nutrition Consultants LLC, a leading Dietitian Nutritionist Consulting firm providing expert services to healthcare facilities nationwide. We are currently looking for a passionate Registered Dietitian to be a part of our growing team for a part-time position in the area for a hybrid-remote assignment.

Schedule: Flexible, Monday-Friday during normal business hours completed remotely via telehealth.

Hours: 3-6hrs/week 

Compensation: $30.00-$36.00 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, including screening for and addressing co-occurring mental health conditions, substance-related deficiencies, medication side effects, and disordered eating behaviors (anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating disorder).
  


• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, considering substance use history, co-occurring mental health conditions, and the impact of medications on appetite and metabolism.
  


• Provide nutrition education and counseling
  


• Collaborate closely with IDT team  
  


• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed 
  


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with all relevant regulations and HIPAA guidelines.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
  


• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  


• Active TN state licensure/certification
  


• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience (preferred).
  


• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  


• Possesses the ability to apply critical thinking to a variety of situations, assess objectives, develop and implement and monitor effective plans for improvement.
  


• Proficiency in providing general nutrition interventions.
  


• Familiarity with state survey processes and adhering to nutrition care regulations
  


• Competency in electronic charting systems
