Forefront Healthcare is looking for a part-time Registered Dietitian, Nutritionist (16 hours/week) for an acute care hospital in Mena, AR.

Position Summary:

The RD will lead and direct the functions of clinical nutrition services: nutrition assessment,

counseling/consultation, performance improvements ensuring high quality nutritional care is

provided to residents while meeting Federal, State and local standards.

Essential Job Functions:

● Calculate nutritional needs, establish goals, and implement medical nutrition therapy for

residents based on their overall nutritional status.

● Maintains current care plan for each resident/patient and updates as needed

● Train, develop, and support kitchen workforce

● Establish effective strategies to implement innovative programs which lead to optimal

clinical nutrition and positive financial outcomes

● Compile with regulatory standards – both Federal and State and accrediting agencies

adhering to confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, residents’ right policies and The Joint

Commission Standards

● Collaborate with IDT team to provide quality nutrition and culinary

• ● 1-3 years as a registered dietitian

  ● Must have thorough knowledge of nutrition and dietetics, administration and operations of
  
  senior living
  
  ● Must have knowledge of HACCP guidelines

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Sciences or related field

Registered Dietitian (RDN) by the Commission of Dietetic Registration and Licensed by the

State Dietetics Licensing Board in state(s) where applicable
