Registered Nurse

TranscendED is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to support our residential treatment facility in Monroe, North Carolina. This is a part-time role requiring 20 hours per week, ideal for a nurse looking to make a meaningful impact in a therapeutic setting focused on healing and recovery.

Seeking for shifts: MWF, daytime shift (mornings)

Primary Function:
The RN will ensure timely follow-through on all physician orders and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate comprehensive client care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly nursing visits for up to 6 clients at the residential facility


• Complete nursing notes and documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)


• Perform admission nursing assessments


• Monitor and record weekly vitals


• Administer medications as needed


• MAR management 


• Coordinate follow-up for medical orders, including labs, EKGs, and other appointments with Psychiatrist, PMHNP, FNP 


• Collaborate with the Treatment Team to support holistic care


• Attend weekly interdisciplinary team meeting 


• Provide nursing consultation as needed


• Facilitate a weekly self-care/hygiene group


• Administer first aid/body checks PRN

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing in North Carolina


• Strong understanding of nursing principles and clinical practices


• Proficient in medication administration and use
  


• Experience with eating disorder or behavioral health clients is preferred

Credentialing & Physical Requirements

• Credentialing is required; details provided upon application


• Must be physically able to perform standard RN duties as needed

Pay: $30/hour - $40/hour (Commensurate with Experience)
