Registered Nurse - Part-Time

Senior Helpers Fargo is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis; NO holidays and very limited weekend availability required. In this role, you will provide exceptional nursing care to our senior and disabled clients in the Fargo, ND and surrounding areas, helping them maintain their health and independence in the comfort of their own homes. 

Objective: To oversee the care of clients and monitor aides. This includes performing nursing assessments and reassessments at required intervals; writing, monitoring, and updating care plans for clients for the home care agency. In addition, the RN will perform skills assessments for the home care aides.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care including medication administration, wound care, nail care and health monitoring.


• Develop and update individualized care plans in coordination with clients, families, and healthcare providers.


• Educate clients and their families on health management and disease prevention.


• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and reports.


• Collaborate with other care team members to ensure high-quality, holistic care.


• Respond promptly to client health emergencies and changes in condition.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Dakota and Minnesota.


• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience, preferably in home health or senior care.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Compassionate attitude and dedication to elderly care.
