Part -Time Registered Nurse (Pre-Op/ PACU or Circulating)

Riverside Eye Surgery Center is seeking a dedicated part-time Pre-Op/PACU or Circulating Registered Nurse to join our exceptional team every Tuesday and Thursday.
Requirements of the Job:
- Active RN license in the State of Maine required.
- BLS is required. ACLS certification is a plus.
- 2+ years of RN experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a perioperative or related specialty setting preferred.
- Proficiency in IV placement and safe medication administration.
- Familiarity with operating room equipment and sterile procedures.
- Ability to work every Tuesday and Thursday.

Responsibilities of the Job:
- Administer and monitor patient care.
- Maintain accuratecharting and detailed documentation.
- Provide customized pre-operative instructions and discharge education to patients.
- Safely place IVs, administer medications, and adhere to infection control policies.
- Anticipate and address the needs of patients with vision impairments and sedation.
- Participate in inventory maintenance, medication checks, and emergency preparedness.
