WANDER STAFFING seeks to add Registered Nurses (RNs) to our Team ASAP! This position is located at the Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH-G) in Gulfport, MS, 1800 Beach Dr, Gulfport, MS 39507.

Facility Information:
The Armed Forces Retirement Home (AFRH), a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), has been providing retired soldiers, airmen, and sailors a place to call home for more than a century and a half. The mission of our staff is to meet the needs of the Nation's veterans today and in the future while providing services and care in the most efficient manner possible. Each site offers Independent Living, Independent Living Plus, Assisted Living, Long Term Care, and Memory Support options for its residents. The population at each facility will be approximately 600 residents.

Compensation:

Day Shift: $38.93/hour
Swing Shift : $40.43/hour
Night, Holiday and all Weekend Shifts: $42.93/hour
PRN, W-2 position

Schedule: The facility is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. There is a paid Personnel Orientation. All personnel shall attend a twenty-four (24) hour orientation session before working any shifts. Orientation will be scheduled from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Four and a Half Hour Shifts (when available, can be put back-to-back for an 8 hour shift or be worked as a 4.5 hour shift)
- Swing shift: 3 pm -7:30 pm CST
- Swing shift: 7pm-11:30 pm CST
Eight-Hour Schedules:
- Day shift 7:00 am – 3:30 pm CST
- Swing shift 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm CST
- Night shift 11:00 pm – 7:30 am CST
Twelve-Hour Schedules (these shifts are generally for weekends and Holidays):
- Day shift 7:00 am – 7:30 pm CST
- Night shift 7:00 pm – 7:00 am CST
CNA Transportation Shifts: ANYTIME between 7:00 am – 6:30 pm CST
- Monday – Saturday, 6:00 pm to 6:00 am
- Sunday – 24 hours

Professional Requirements:

Active license in good standing with the state of Mississippi
Have one-year practical experience in geriatric care.
Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification to include cognitive and skills evaluation.
Documentation of current influenza vaccination by the end of November /each year).
Documentation of hepatitis B immunity, either by vaccination or serologic testing.
Current TB test
