Village Caregiving is expanding in the Iowa City region, and we’re seeking a compassionate, motivated RN who wants more than a traditional nursing role. In this role, you’ll use your clinical judgment to guide caregivers, support families, and help clients remain safely and comfortably in their homes. Your assessments and care plans will directly influence the quality of care our clients receive and the confidence our caregivers bring to their work.

  Compensation for assessment visits ranges from $60 to $120 per visit. 

  
  

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Conduct one-on-one home visits with clients every 90 days

  
  


• 
  

  Complete initial and ongoing assessments to identify physical, psycho-social, and environmental needs

  
  


• 
  

  Perform evaluation tasks including vital signs, medication review, and home safety assessments

  
  


• 
  

  Develop individualized care plans to guide caregiver support

  
  


• 
  

  Educate clients and families on home care strategies, safety, and tools that improve quality of life

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and healthcare partners

  
  


• Assist with caregiver training PRN

Qualifications

• 
  

  Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s nursing program

  
  


• 
  

  Current RN license in the state of Iowa

  
  


• 
  

  Current CPR certification

  
  


• 
  

  Compassionate, friendly demeanor and strong communication skills

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally
