We are currently seeking an experienced Cardiovascular RN for PRN day-shift assignments supporting outpatient cardiovascular procedures.

Position Overview

The Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (PRN) will work directly alongside a cardiovascular physician in an outpatient setting, assisting with procedures and minor surgeries. This role requires strong cardiovascular experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

The ideal candidate is confident, detail-oriented, and skilled at anticipating physician and patient needs while ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care.

Schedule

Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Monday–Thursday (PRN/as needed, not guaranteed 5 days per week)

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Assist cardiovascular physician during outpatient procedures and minor surgeries.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide pre- and post-procedure patient assessments and care.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies.

  
  


• 
  

  Administer medications and monitor patient responses during and after procedures.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

  
  


• 
  

  Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, medications, and follow-up care.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain compliance with ATC standards, facility policies, and nursing ethics.

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and strong teamwork in a clinical environment.

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Minimum 2 years of recent cardiovascular nursing experience (outpatient or acute care).

  
  


• 
  

  Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.

  
  


• 
  

  Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.

  
  


• 
  

  Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong organizational skills and ability to anticipate physician needs.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication skills and ability to perform under pressure.

  
  


• 
  

  No new graduates. PRN role requires proven hands-on experience.
