Registered Nurse - RN - Educator/Instructor Chattanooga, TN

Gateway Achievement is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to teach students in our Certified Nursing Assistant School, with the goal of having all students pass the TN State Nurse Aide exam.

Candidates must be charismatic and able to interact well with others.  This job is the perfect fit for those who have the desire to enrich the lives of others.

This position is approximately 30 hours per week. 

Job Functions:

Present information in a classroom setting

Administer, review, and check exams

Keep accurate records of attendance, grades, and skills

Educate students on the proper care of a patient in a LTC facility

Share the clinical experience with students in a long-term care facility for a portion of the class

Assist student who are struggling enabling us to keep our 95% pass rate

Requirements:

RN for a minimum of 3 years

A minimum of 1 year experience in a LTC facility/Nursing Home

Experience supervising CNA’s in a clinical environment or experience presenting in front of a classroom -preferred

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience with basic computer functions
