Key Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care for individuals with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis)

• Monitor respiratory function, mobility, swallowing, and speech changes

• Administer medications and manage feeding tubes, tracheostomy, or BiPAP care

• Support palliative care plans focused on comfort, dignity, and family involvement

• Educate clients and caregivers on disease progression and home safety

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to tailor individualized care

• Keep clear, accurate clinical records using digital charting tools

Qualifications

• Current RN license in New York (or applicable state)

• Minimum 1 year of ALS or complex neuromuscular care experience preferred

• CPR certification (American Heart Association)

• Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence

• Reliable transportation for home visits

• Experience with ventilator or tracheostomy care is a plus

Available Shifts

• Available Hours: Monday's, Wednesday's, Thursday's & Friday's 7AM to 3PM Tuesday 11AM to 7PM & Saturday 3PM to 11PM
