Registered Nurse (RN) - PRN

The Lutheran Home is seeking a compassionate and skilled PRN Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated healthcare community. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care including assessments, treatments, and care plans evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care.
• Supervise nurse aides to ensure quality and consistency of care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in compliance with protocols.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust care plans to support recovery and independence.
• Educate residents and families on care plans, goals, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of nursing activities and outcomes.
• Respond promptly to emergencies with appropriate nursing interventions.
• Participate in staff education, training and quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Foster a respectful, collaborative, and positive team culture.

• Day shift: 6:45 am to 7:15 pm
• Night shift: 6:45 pm to 7:15 am

• Current unrestricted RN license in the State of Missouri (or eligibility for licensure)
• CPR certification
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
