Regular Part-Time Dermatology Medical Assistant

QualDerm Partners is currently seeking a Regular Part-Time Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and recording relevant medical histories.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment is ready and available.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
• Maintain precise and confidential patient records.
• Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate office communications.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and effective skincare routines.
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and adequately stocked with supplies.

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical setting is desirable.
• Understanding of medical terminology, particularly in dermatology.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient engagement.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software is advantageous.
