We are seeking a passionate and experienced PRN Rehab Tech to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior fitness and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of older adults.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Lead Exercise Programs: Develop and implement engaging, evidence-based exercise programs for seniors, focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, cardiovascular health, and mobility.
• Private Pay Sessions: Offer one-on-one or small group private pay sessions for clients seeking personalized fitness plans and individualized attention.
• Assess Clients' Needs: Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients' physical capabilities and needs to create customized fitness plans.
• Track Client Progress: Monitor and document clients' progress, making adjustments to their exercise plans as needed.
• Provide Education and Support: Educate clients on the importance of physical activity, nutrition, and overall wellness, offering guidance on how to integrate exercise into daily life.
• Create a Safe Environment: Ensure that all exercises are safe and appropriate for the clients’ abilities, and provide guidance on injury prevention.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: Work closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that exercise programs align with any medical conditions or restrictions.
• Promote Programs: Help promote and grow the senior exercise programs within the community, through referrals, marketing, and networking.
• Maintain Certifications: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in senior fitness and hold relevant certifications in senior exercise or related fields.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Education, or a related field (preferred not mandatory).

Certification: Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) with a focus on senior fitness or specialized certifications such as Certified Senior Fitness Specialist (CSFS), SilverSneakers, or similar. (preferred not mandatory)

Experience: Minimum of 2 years working with older adults in an exercise or wellness capacity. Experience with one-on-one personal training and group fitness classes for seniors is highly desirable.

Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to motivate and inspire clients, knowledge of aging-related physical changes, and expertise in adapting exercises for various physical abilities.
