Baseball Umpire

Referee365 has been contracted to manage the umpire staff this year for the Lee's Summit Baseball Association (LSBA), and we're looking for all of the good umpires, new and experienced, that we can find.

Do you love baseball and want to stay in the game or be a part of the game? Do you have prior officiating experience in other sports? Are you looking for a fun, flexible, challenging part-time job? If any of those things are true, then umpiring may be for you.

LSBA will play a spring and summer schedule on eight fields, Monday through Friday. Two games on each field every night. We're looking for umpires of all ages and experience to work LSBA's spring and summer schedule. LSBA organizes games from U8 (machine pitch) through U14, with games generally scheduled in the evenings on Monday through Friday. Games will start in April. Umpires are paid on a per-game basis depending on the age level.

• New umpires will typically start at the machine pitch level.


• Umpires need to be great teammates but also work well independently.


• Punctuality and professional appearance are critical. We'll help you with both.


• Must be at least 14 years of age to start.

Your schedule is flexible and completely within your control. You work only when you're available and want to work. If you're new to umpiring, we'll provide all of the training and support that you'll need. If we help you succeed, then we help LSBA and its players and coaches succeed.

Worried about angry coaches and fans? Yes, it happens. But, LSBA and Referee365 will always have your back. We'll teach you how to manage conflict. And we'll do everything in our power to make you so good that people will stop complaining.
