Job Description - Bookkeeper for a Financial Company in the US (Home Based Part Time)

â¢ Log all transactions into QuickBooks Online

â¢ Prepare and submit monthly (or at minimum quarterly) financial statements including general ledger and balance sheet

â¢ Liaise with accountant regarding any miscategorizations or account adjustments

â¢ Process payroll for five employees across three companies using Paychecks platform on the 1st and 15th of each month

â¢ File payroll taxes and 1099s with the IRS

â¢ Respond to accountant requests via email

â¢ Maintain the general ledger and update on an ongoing basis

â¢ Participate in initial knowledge transfer with outgoing bookkeeper (2â3 days) during the first week
