Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in code enforcement, plan review, and/or inspections for residential and commercial projects

• Certifications: Must hold ICC Master Code Professional (MCP) certification

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed technical reviews of architectural, structural, and MEP plans for code compliance

• Prepare clear and concise written plan review reports, verify valuations, and communicate findings to stakeholders

• Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and local jurisdictions to resolve code compliance issues

• Respond to inquiries via phone and email regarding plan review comments and requirements

• Maintain accurate records in the permitting system and update project logs

• Provide excellent customer service by offering solutions that ensure timely project approvals

• Attend company meetings and training sessions; may assist in mentoring junior staff

Job Type

Part-Time (Remote – USA, Texas Preferred)

Compensation

$40 – $60 per hour, based on experience and certifications
