Job Description - Exan Axium Academic Dental Software Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Exan Axium Academic Dental Software Consultant to support our team on a remote, contracted basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Exan Axium in academic dental settings and will guide our team in optimizing workflows and system configurations—particularly in the areas of dental insurance setup, coverage tables, ERA integration, financial workflows, and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert consultation on the configuration and optimization of Exan Axium.

Assist with dental insurance setup including plan structures, coverage table creation, and ERA (Electronic Remittance Advice) setup.

Streamline financial operations, including patient billing, ledger management, and reporting features.

Review current system usage and identify workflow inefficiencies or technical limitations.

Build and customize reports to support administrative and clinical decision-making.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders remotely to implement best practices and system improvements.

Provide remote training and documentation as needed for administrative and billing staff.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Exan Axium in an academic dental or institutional setting.

Proven expertise in dental insurance workflows, coverage tables, and ERA configuration.

Strong background in financial operations and custom reporting within Axium.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and remote collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently while aligning with organizational goals.

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.
