Job Description - Fundraising Database Administrator

Fundraising Database Administrator


 


Tubman is seeking a part-time Fundraising Database Administrator to join a dynamic and collaborative resource development team. This position will work as an integral part of the fundraising team, responsible for ensuring all database management and data strategies are operationally sound and working effectively. Create routine and special revenue reports to aid in both near-term and longer-term fundraising efforts. This position is also responsible for overall data integrity and accuracy of gift entries and completing the donor acknowledgment process.


 


This position is part-time (30 hours a week) and offers flexibility and requires remote and office work at Tubman’s Chrysalis Center in south Minneapolis. This position reports to both the Philanthropic Engagement Manager and the Director of Development.

Role Responsibilities:



  • Serve as Raiser’s Edge NXT database administrator.

  • Lead pre-campaign and post-campaign reporting activities, including preparation of monthly and quarterly reports (annual and multi-year campaigns as needed).

  • Verification that daily cash log is completed and accurate.

  • Complete gift entry and the acknowledgment process for all donors.

  • Create and modify tailored reports and mailing lists for the department as needed and assist with financial and donor reports for the annual audit.

  • Develop custom reports for specific purposes, e.g., action reports, event reports, etc.

  • Prepare meeting & event briefings, including prospect screening for providing guidance on key prospects for solicitor conversations. Lead post-event prospect debriefs process to capture contact notes for follow-up actions.


 


Job Skills and Qualifications


Required:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent lived experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years working with or direct oversight of fundraising and donor database software (e.g., Raiser’s Edge NXT, Bloomerang, or like systems), preferably including work at the strategic systems level.

  • Competence in synthesizing information, ideas, and data from multiple sources into a cohesive, persuasive document consistent with the agency’s image and brand.

  • Ability to build positive, productive relationships and a strong network of internal and external allies and resources.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.



  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365 products.

  • Demonstrated ability to act independently and collaboratively as part of a team.



  • Pass DHS Fingerprint Criminal Background Study.


 


Preferred:



  • Associate’s degree or higher.

  • 2 years working with or direct oversight of Raiser’s Edge NXT and RE Database

  • 2+ years of experience working with prospect research and management.



  • Experience supervising volunteers and interns.


 


Physical Requirements



  • This position will require working at a desk and computer for extended periods of time.


 


Compensation & Benefits


The hiring range for this position is $24.50 - $26.00 per hour, dependent upon experience.
