About the Project

The client is currently facing the "problem" of a record-breaking order backlog. However, operational friction within the Order-to-Invoice (O2I) cycle is delaying the conversion of these orders into realized revenue.

The objective of this project is to map the end-to-end O2I process, identify critical bottlenecks—from credit holds to shipping documentation—and propose lean optimizations to accelerate cash flow. 

As a Graduate Associate, you will act as a process detective, utilizing data to find "leaks" in the system and designing standardizations that ensure "shipped" becomes "billed" as fast as possible. This project offers a unique intersection of Finance, Logistics, and Process Engineering.

Preferred Profile 

• Education: MSc / MBA students in Operations Management, Finance, Management Accounting, or Business Process Management.


• Industry Experience: Prior exposure or interest in Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycles, Lean Six Sigma, or financial process optimization.


• Analytical Rigor: Ability to analyze process lead times and quantify the financial impact of delays using large datasets.


• Communication: Excellent command of English; ability to conduct stakeholder interviews to uncover root causes of process inefficiencies.


• Technical Skills: Proficiency in process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart) and advanced Excel. Understanding of ERP workflows (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a significant advantage.


• Interests: A drive for efficiency and a keen interest in how large-scale corporations manage their working capital and revenue cycles.
