Operations Specialist - Orion (Part Time)

About the Department & Role

XY Investment Solutions, LLC (dba XYPN Invest) is an SEC-registered investment advisor offering a comprehensive platform for independent, fee-only financial advisors. We provide three distinct service models to meet advisors' needs:

• DIY (Technology Only): Access to core technology for independent use.
• Do It With Me: A full-service Turnkey Asset Management Platform (TAMP).
• Do It For Me: A corporate RIA model with comprehensive support.

Through our DIY service model, XYPN members can purchase Orion technology as a stand-alone solution. Additional support packages and optional add-ons are available to further enhance their experience.

About the Position

At XYPN Invest, our mission is to empower financial advisors by streamlining the investment management process. As an Orion Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting advisors and enhancing their experience with Orion technology.

What you'll be doing

• Respond to advisor support requests via email, phone, and scheduled Zoom meetings.
• Assist new members with onboarding to Orion, providing step-by-step guidance throughout the process.
• Escalate complex issues to the Orion Support Manager as needed.
• Provide assistance with monthly and quarterly billing and reporting services for Orion subscribers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support the quarter-end invoicing process for the Orion service offering.
• Creating and maintaining support articles and walkthroughs.

Measurables: 

• Number of tickets resolved.
• First response time.

The Deets:

Start Date: Immediately

Status: Part-time (20 - 25 hours per week with flexible schedule)

Location: Remote and/or Bozeman, MT 

Overtime Status: Non-exempt (i.e., overtime eligible)

Team: XYPN Invest/Sapphire   

Reports To:  Orion Support Manager

Direct reports: None 

What you'll bring to the table:

• 2+ years of direct experience managing Orion databases.
• 1+ years of direct experience using Orion’s billing and reporting applications.
• A proactive approach to completing tasks, achieving inbox zero, and maintaining organization.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to ensure clarity in all interactions.
• Proficiency with multiple cloud-based technology applications and the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and solutions.
• Strong time management skills, thriving under tight deadlines.
• A collaborative attitude, avoiding phrases like "That's not my job" or "That's not how we do things."
• Legally authorized to live and work in the United States without present or future need for sponsorship.

What would make us drool:

• Previous experience working within a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) firm.
• Familiarity with Charles Schwab or other custodians.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $28.37 - $36.10 hourly
