Part-Time Consultant GLP-1 & Sterile Injectable Formulator

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced formulation scientist or pharmacist consultant with a strong background in GLP-1 medications and sterile injectable formulation. This is a flexible, part-time consulting role with the option to work remotely. However, preference will be given to candidates located in or near Miami, Florida, as occasional in-person visits may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

  Provide expert guidance on the formulation of GLP-1 and other sterile injectable drugs

  
  


• 
  

  Answer technical questions related to formula development and stability

  
  


• 
  

  Participate in ad hoc calls or respond to urgent inquiries on short notice

  
  


• 
  

  Assist in troubleshooting formulation or manufacturing issues as needed

  
  


• 
  

  Review and provide feedback on formulation protocols, documentation, or regulatory considerations

  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  

  Proven experience formulating GLP-1 medications or similar sterile injectable pharmaceuticals

  
  


• 
  

  Advanced degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, or a related field preferred

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of sterile compounding, aseptic techniques, and regulatory requirements

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to communicate complex formulation concepts clearly and efficiently

  
  


• 
  

  Availability for short-notice consulting calls or rapid turnaround questions

  
  


• 
  

  Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

  Prior experience working with compounding pharmacies or CDMOs

  
  

Compensation:

Competitive hourly or retainer-based consulting rate, commensurate with experience.
