Job Description - Part Time Leasing Consultant Property Management

Our south King County portfolio consists of seven apartment properties and two single family homes. The buildings are located in four cities all within a 15 minute drive from our office in Renton. You will be working directly for the owner rather than a third party manager. We self-manage all our properties and nearly all units have been substantially renovated. It is our plan to expand our holdings and the position offers good career and income growth potential. We are a small company
 
Candidates should have at least three least years of experience in leasing and property management. Applicants will need an extensive knowledge of current landlord-tenant law, fair housing law, and good people skills. This is a hands-on position, where you will be the face of the company to all residents and applicants across multiple properties. All applicants must be personable, computer literate, and own reliable transportation.
 
Duties will include, but not limited to:
·       Marketing, unit tours and tenant screening
·       Taking and responding to tenant inquiries, including after hour emergencies
·       Enforcing lease compliance, creating, and delivering tenant notices
·       Maintaining curb appeal: pick up common areas, walkways, and grounds
·       Providing weekly reports to ownership
·       Track and serve lease renewals and notices
·       Move-out inspections and managing turnovers
·       Address/manage collections 
 
The compensation will be paid as a base salary, plus incentive income, with performance based bonuses assessed annually. This is a full-time position with flexibility in hours and schedule but will also require some weekend work. Weekend work is not set or consistent, but will be necessary for marketing vacancies, serving notices, and following up with residents.
