We’re looking for a BIM Modeler to join one of our clients based in Colorado. This is a part-time remote position, and you must be available to work in Mountain Standard Time (MST). Apply now!
BetterPros unlocks human potential by offering competitive compensation, flexibility, constant learning and growth, and the opportunity to work anywhere you want with one of our +130 active clients across the United States.
What you'll do:
Support the client’s team with architectural production and construction documentation for renovation and existing building projects.
Develop and update Revit models based on existing drawings, Matterport scans, point clouds, site photos, and field measurements.
Produce DD and CD sets of plans — including floor plans, sections, and elevations — for commercial renovation and existing building projects.
Prepare permit sets for submission to local authorities and CD packages for General Contractors.
Accurately pick up and implement redlines throughout the documentation process.
Coordinate architectural drawings with the structural and MEP disciplines.
Assist with detailing, constructability reviews, and coordination throughout the design process.
Participate in internal meetings and collaborate closely with the project team — asking questions and contributing throughout the project instead of only executing drafting tasks.
What you must have:
5+ years of experience as a Production Architect, Job Captain, or BIM Modeler.
Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with strong production speed and accuracy.
Experience working on commercial projects.
Advanced English level.
Solid technical judgment, attention to detail, and a good understanding of building systems and constructability.
Solid understanding of the documentation process from DD through CD, including permit sets and construction documents.
A collaborative, proactive approach — comfortable asking questions and contributing ideas throughout the project.
Excellent communication skills and a genuine interest in becoming a true extension of the client’s team, rather than simply completing drafting tasks.
A great plus:
Hands-on experience with Matterport scans, point clouds, or other scan-to-BIM workflows.
A background in renovation, adaptive reuse, or existing building documentation.
Familiarity with U.S. drafting standards and multidisciplinary coordination workflows.
We’ve got the opportunity, you’ve got the talent. We want to hear from you! Apply now.
