Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer with strong experience in enterprise IT environments, Microsoft cloud technologies, and remote technical support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting Azure Portal, Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive, and end-user technology solutions.
The candidate must demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, customer service abilities, and experience managing technical issues in a remote support environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for end users.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and cloud-related issues with an SLA in place.
- Provide remote IT support and resolve incidents efficiently and following an SLA in place as well as an RCA.
- Support and manage Microsoft 365 environments, including:
- Office 365 applications
- Microsoft Teams
- OneDrive
- Exchange Online
- User accounts and permissions
- Assist with Azure Portal administration and troubleshooting.
- Manage user access, licenses, and security configurations.
- Document incidents, solutions, and technical procedures.
- Support IT projects, migrations, and technology improvements.
- Configure and support domains, IP's, virtual cloud environments (VPS), hosting environments.
Required Technical Experience & Knowledge.
Microsoft Azure / Azure Portal
Candidate must have experience or training in:
- Azure Portal navigation and administration.
- Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
- User and group management.
- Roles, permissions, and access control.
- Basic Azure security concepts.
Microsoft 365 / Office 365
Experience or training required in:
- Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
- User management and license assignment.
- Exchange Online administration.
- Microsoft Teams support and configuration.
- OneDrive administration and synchronization troubleshooting.
- SharePoint Online fundamentals.
Technical Support & Remote Support
Experience required in:
- Remote troubleshooting and end-user support.
- Windows operating systems.
- Hardware and software troubleshooting.
- VPN and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Remote access/support tools.
- IT ticketing systems and incident management.
Required Training
Required and completed training in:
- Microsoft Azure Administration.
- Microsoft 365 Administration.
- Microsoft Teams Administration.
- Cloud technologies.
- IT Support methodologies.
- ITIL Foundation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Support or related roles remotely and following an SLA.
- Practical experience supporting Microsoft environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical users.
- Experience supporting users in a global environment and across different time-zones.
- Must have a minimum of B2 English Level.
