Community of Hope is seeking a Temporary Part-Time SharePoint Administrator to make a lasting impact on how information is managed and shared across the organization. The SharePoint Administrator will support the Information Technology team by providing hands-on administration, troubleshooting, implementation, and user support within COH’s SharePoint Online environment. In this role, you will improve the usability, governance, search, metadata, permissions, and overall discoverability of information within COH’s existing SharePoint environment. You will work collaboratively with IT staff, department leaders, site owners, and end users to implement practical improvements while building on existing processes and workflows—without unnecessarily restarting prior discovery efforts or disrupting established practices. The SharePoint Administrator will also help build sustainable internal knowledge and capabilities through documentation, training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing with COH IT staff and designated SharePoint owners or champions. This position is 100% remote.

What You’ll Do

• Serves as a primary point of contact within IT for SharePoint Online issues, service requests, and approved enhancements.
• Administers and maintains SharePoint sites, hubs, pages, document libraries, lists, navigation, columns, content types, views, versioning, sharing settings, and site lifecycle activities.
• Troubleshoots access, permissions, synchronization, search, indexing, document-library, sharing, Office integration, and user-experience issues.
• Evaluates and improves SharePoint search and document discoverability within the existing environment.
• Troubleshoots issues involving search schema, indexing, permissions, metadata, content organization, navigation, and configuration.
• Provides input on Power Automate, Microsoft Teams integration, Microsoft Purview, and Microsoft Copilot readiness when these capabilities intersect with SharePoint administration and governance.
• Provides one-on-one and group support to staff, site owners, content stewards, and SharePoint champions.
• Develops and maintains user guides, quick-reference materials, FAQs, knowledge-base articles, and COH-specific administrative documentation.
• Monitors available usage and support indicators to help identify adoption barriers and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Provides hands-on mentoring and knowledge transfer to strengthen the internal team’s ability to administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and evolve SharePoint.

 Must-Haves 

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Minimum three years of hands-on SharePoint Online administration experience in a production Microsoft 365 environment.
• Demonstrated experience configuring and supporting SharePoint sites, hubs, document libraries, lists, pages, navigation, permissions, content types, metadata, views, versioning, and search.
• Experience troubleshooting SharePoint search, indexing, synchronization, sharing, access, and document-management issues.
• Experience implementing practical information architecture, taxonomy, metadata, and governance standards.
• Experience developing technical documentation, user guides, and role-based training materials.
• Experience delivering individual and group training to technical and non-technical users.
• Strong technical diagnostic, analytical, communication, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, self-directed, and able to prioritize multiple operational and improvement
• activities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of technical, administrative, clinical, operational, and leadership staff.
• Ability to work as part of an internal team, document work clearly, share knowledge, and build sustainable internal capability.

 Nice-to-Haves 

• Knowledge of HIPAA, information security, privacy, records management, and access-control principles preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Power Automate required; familiarity with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Copilot preferred.
