Sr Accountant / Financial Controller

Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant / Financial Controller who understands the IT services business, is an expert in QuickBooks, and has deep knowledge of US accounting standards. This role will be the primary point of contact for all financials, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Oversight: Review and adjust transactions in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize financial processes and reporting.
• Accounting & Compliance: Ensure adherence to US GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present key financial metrics and reports to the executive team.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the India finance team, US CPA firm, and other stakeholders across India, the US, and Mexico.
• Strategic Insights: Provide financial analysis and recommendations for business growth and profitability.
• Independence & Leadership: Manage financial operations proactively, ensuring seamless execution without constant oversight.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of the IT services business model and financial operations.
• Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks (desktop and online).
• Deep knowledge of US accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
• Relevant accounting certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred).
• Experience in financial analysis, reporting, and optimization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across global teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage financials end-to-end.
