Tenant Liaison Officer (Temporary - Part Time) Manchester Area

Switch2 is the market leader in the provision of bespoke energy metering, monitoring and billing services to high energy users such as hospitals, factories, residential apartments, commercial properties and industrial sites.  Our client portfolio contains local authorities, universities, factories, housing associations, private landlords and utility energy suppliers.  The company is now entering into an exciting new business sector and has already won over a dozen major contracts with large public sector property developers who now have to consider renewable energy in order to obtain planning permission for new build projects.

Outline of the Role:

Temporary Part Time Role - 15 Hours Per Week

The Tenant Liaison officer will assist in arranging appointments and liaising between the various stakeholders to ensure the continued success of the project and installations.

  Arranging mutually convenient installation and maintenance appointments


• 
  Completing required paperwork and agreements with tenants (both S2 and client)


• 
  Attending and contributing to tenant consultation events


• 
  Managing the tenant vulnerability database and ensure any tenants requiring further assistance have this arrange prior to works been undertaken


• 
  Providing instruction and support to tenants on the system that is being installed before, during and after installation.


• 
  Training and informing the occupier/homeowner on the operation of the equipment installed within their dwelling and setting equipment/systems up to the customer’s specific requirements were applicable.


• 
  Maintaining a smart appearance and a pleasing disposition at all times.

Principal Health & Safety Responsibilities

• 
  Compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act, with specific responsibility for the health safety and welfare of all personnel within their control including themselves and for ensuring the overall safe and compliant planning, implementation, and monitoring of all activities.

  Compliance with company H&S policy.


• 
  Report all accidents and/or incidents and near misses in accordance with Switch2 procedures.

Principal Responsibilities

• Managing the tenant vulnerability database and ensure any tenants requiring further assistance have this arrange prior to works been undertaken


• 
  Attend and contribute towards tenant consultation, as required, to ensure that all tenants have an in-depth understanding of the heating upgrade taking place within their property.


• 
  To maintain a comprehensive appointment register and ensure all jobs logged are passed the Internal Operations Teams.


• 
  To maintain a high level of organisation including ensuring all paperwork for the installations are completed and returned.

Knowledge and Experience 

Desirable

A good understanding of the heating system to be installed to allow tenant instruction to be provided

A good understanding of the way appointments will be managed

Basic knowledge of hydraulic systems to provide tenant instruction

Experience working with tenants on installation projects

Essential

• 
  Ability to prioritise work effectively


• 
  Ability to manage own time

• 
  A full, clean, valid UK driving licence

Education and Training 

• 
  Experience of using Microsoft Word and Excel


• 
  Experience as a tenant liaison officer
