Job Description - Thai Language Instructor - Online Class

PGLS is looking for a Thai Language Instructor to teach an intensive course for an adult professional, online, CT timezone. This position is for a class starting on July 14, 2025, for around for 800 hrs - approx. 8 months.

The class is online, one-on-one, 6h/day, starting in the morning.

Requirements

Educated native or bilingual speaker.
2+ year(s) of classroom experience teaching Thai language to adult English-speaking students.
1+ year(s) of teaching experience in a small-group classroom setting.
Must possess the cultural background of Thailand and the region (preferably, raised or educated in Thailand).
Familiarity with the communicative approach to language learning, ILR language levels and OPI assessments highly desired.
Familiarity with various computer platforms including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting software (Zoom, Skype, MS Teams, WebEx).
