Urban Planning Architect (Part Time, Bahamas) 6404

We're looking for a Remote Urban Planning Architect to join our client's team, taking ownership of an exciting luxury residential masterplan project in the Bahamas. This role involves advancing the design of the masterplan, supporting land subdivision, and helping move the project into its sales phase. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity for someone who can work independently while staying aligned with Peter, the project lead, on strategic direction.

What you'll do:

  Take ownership of the project and advance the masterplan design.

  
  


• 
  

  Support land subdivision efforts and help kick off the sales process.

  
  


• 
  

  Lead the design process across SD and DD phases, including 3D modeling, CD sets (floor plans, sections, elevations), and quick renderings.

  
  


• 
  

  Produce exterior renderings or coordinate with renderists/marketing consultants if renderings are outsourced.

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate with consultants to generate marketing imagery that supports the sales effort.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to keep the project moving toward buyer engagement.

  
  


• 
  

  Work independently on technical and design matters, while staying aligned with Peter on overall project direction.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage multiple stakeholders and negotiate effectively to keep the project on track.

  
  

What you must have:

• 
  

  Strong background in urban planning, urban design, residential design, and project management.

  
  


• 
  

  Proven experience with residential luxury projects.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to lead design work independently, from masterplan concept through CD phases.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong negotiation skills and experience managing multiple stakeholders.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work in a remote environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Reliability and ability to meet deadlines in a part-time, project-driven engagement.

  
  

A great plus:

• 
  

  Experience coordinating with renderists or marketing teams to produce presentation and marketing imagery.

  
  


• 
  

  Exposure to land subdivision and residential sales processes.

  
  


• 
  

  Familiarity with 3D modeling and rendering software.
