Virtual Personal Injury Paralegal

Are you an experienced paralegal with a passion for personal injury law? Equivity is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented virtual paralegal to support our personal injury clients. If you also have experience in workers’ compensation, that’s a strong plus! 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Draft demand letters, pleadings, motions, and affidavits. 

• Manage and organize personal injury case files from intake through resolution. 

• Communicate professionally with clients, insurance adjusters, opposing counsel, and court staff. 

• Assist attorneys with mediation, settlement, and trial preparation, including exhibits and witness coordination. 

• Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and provide general case support. 

• Collaborate effectively with attorneys and fellow team members. 

• Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients during standard business hours (9 AM – 6 PM) 

About You: 

• At least 3 years of recent experience as a personal injury paralegal. 

• Experience with workers’ compensation matters is a preferred plus. 

• Proficient with Microsoft Office, legal research tools, and cloud-based platforms. 

• Experience with personal injury specific software like FileVine and SmartAdvocate strongly preferred. 

• Comfortable using video conferencing and managing tasks remotely. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines independently. 

• Equipped with a reliable Windows-based laptop, smartphone, and broadband internet.

Position Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree. 

• Minimum 3 years of recent litigation paralegal experience. 

• Availability to respond to client requests within one hour, Monday through Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM  

• Ability to work 20–40 hours per week on an ongoing basis.
