We have an excellent opportunity for a Part-Time Renovations Technician to join our Renovations Team here at Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community! If you are a motivated self-starter with commercial and residential carpentry experience, we want to discuss this position with you.
Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Completes work as directed by Lead Renovations Tech.
Works well for extended periods without direct supervision.
Assists as directed with fire drills, preventive maintenance and general maintenance tasks.
Performs all tasks relative to minor construction/renovation including painting, drywall, drywall repair, plumbing and carpentry.
Assists with snow removal operations.
Demonstrates appropriate and effective communication skills with QPRC residents, family members, employees, and visitors.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Must possess a minimum of 3+ years of applicable experience
Must have valid Driver's License and verifiable insurance coverage
Knowledge and ability to perform carpentry, including the use of hand tools and power tools.
Able to read and understand basic blueprints, schematics and symbols.
Demonstrates ability to perform basic mathematics and take accurate measurements.
Demonstrates basic knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
Has the ability to calculate and create material lists with quantities for specific projects
