About us
The Meadows of Wadena provides assisted living and memory care services for seniors in a setting that is both professionally managed and thoughtfully designed. We offer a resident-focused care plan to meet each resident’s needs.

We are seeking applicants for Resident Assistant.

Responsibilities

Help seniors with their personal cares including assistance with showering, dressing, and grooming.
Perform housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, cleaning, dusting, trash removal, etc.
Pass medications and supervise the resident's self-administration as directed.
Observe residents and report changes in physical and emotional condition.

Shifts/Hours:

6a – 2p, 3-5 days every two weeks, including every third weekend.
6a – 2p every other weekend, with additional weekday shifts available for pick up if desired.
2p – 10p every other weekend, with additional weekday shifts available for pick up if desired.

Pay Rate: $17.28 - $19.78

+$0.50 for CNA certification and +$1.00 for both CNA and TMA certifications!

- Shift differentials for 2p-10p, 10p-6a, and weekends!

Full-time employees (40 hours/week) receive paid holidays!

-Tuition reimbursement is available for new CNA and TMA certification, and other post-secondary education degree programs including nursing.

No prior experience is required—this is an entry-level opportunity, and we’re committed to providing the training and support you need to succeed and grow as a valued member of our team.

In order to be able to clearly communicate with and provide appropriate care to our residents, as well as to complete all job tasks safely and as required, you must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

All employees must pass a criminal background study as determined solely by the State of Minnesota. We cannot employ anyone who does not successfully pass the background study.
