Residential Care Cook (Part-Time) Weekends 6am-2pm

At Care Network facilities, employees are expected to embrace a versatile role that often extends beyond traditional job descriptions. In addition to performing the primary duties as a Cook, staff members may be asked to assist with various other tasks including caregiving or housekeeping to ensure the well-being and comfort of our residents. This collaborative approach requires flexibility, a willingness to adapt, and a commitment to providing comprehensive support across different areas. Candidates should be prepared to contribute to multiple aspects of facility operations and assist wherever needed to create a positive and enriching environment for our residents.

• Plan and prepare nutritious meals for residents, taking into account any dietary requirements or restrictions.
• Ensure that all meals are cooked and served on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area.
• Order and manage inventory of food and kitchen supplies.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Provide support in housekeeping and resident care on occasion or as needed.

• Previous experience as a cook, preferably in a residential care facility or assisted living setting. 
• Ability to prepare nutritious meals that meet dietary requirements and restrictions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to provide support in housekeeping and resident care on occasion or as needed.
